THE HISTORY
The history of Diamond Heritage Estate is a very intriguing and inspiring story. The current owners acquired the property in 2022. It was utilized for many years as the African American community ballfield dating back over 50 years. No sports activity had taken place for many years and had become a dormant location.

After having the field bushhoged and other land management work performed, the current owners were able to locate and identify the dugout and reclaim still the home plate and pitchers mound buried in the ground. Oak boards were nailed between several trees but had to be removed due to their condition.

Several families have lived on the property throughout the years and several of them are still alive today to share many memories. Remnants of the former home sites still exist.
